The Face Behind Fabtastic Flowers (previously Tasha's Flower Creations)
This Blog has been written to give you a little bit of an insight into me the person behind Fabtastic Flowers. It can seem odd without knowing a bit about the person behind the business so I hope what I am telling you will give you a better idea about me as a person :-)

In the last couple of months I have changed my image by choosing an inverted bob hairstyle in a deep red (burgundy) colour
Me
I'm 37 Years old and a Mother of two gorgeous children both being strapping boys a Toddler & Teenager. I originally come from a little down in Kent called Ashford but moved to West Yorkshire in 1996 so I am a Southerner up North but still talk posh I have no idea where I get that from, lol :-)
My Personality
I have been known to worry about things and sometimes take things to heart, I can also be a little bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my work but that is because I want it to be perfect for my customers, on the plus side I am a very friendly caring person that goes out of my way to do what I can to help when I can.
I love Music :-)
Being a true romantic I love romantic songs but also love the dancy music out there at the moment that I can bop about the house to while either working or doing the much loved housework :-0, one of my most favorite music artists at the moment is Lada Gaga, me and my little one love the most recent song 'applause' I also love a bit of soft rock music and 80's and Katie Perry
My Flower Designs
With my one person self employed business I design each flower petal by petal using Polymer Clay, I like to capture the real flower within my smaller designs and so do research into them to try capture their beauty. I have also recently this year (2014) started researching Birth Flowers of the Month, so each month I will design around those flowers. Not many people realise they have a flower to represent their birthday. I was born in June and mine is the Rose which happens to be one of my most favourite flowers :-)
Since January 2015 I have started to make flowers with fabrics & rhinestones to add to my polymer clay designs

I love nature and find so much beauty, elegance and innocence in flowers which I try to capture in my own designs which are all made by me petal by petal to look as realistic as possible
I've recently this year (2014) started working on more ideas, one of which being designing Flower Canes from Polymer Clay as well as my 3d makes. A Polymer Clay Cane could be described as making each little bit then putting together as a jigsaw puzzle which can then be sliced and put into projects.

Even though times can be tough running my own business when up against the manufactured products out there from China etc, I really enjoy the interaction I have with my fans who appreciate what I do and making new friends too. My dream is to one day be a success in my business but I'm realistic and know this may not happen but going to do my best anyhow
I love my friends and family
Those that are close to me mean the world to me and I will openly tell them because life is short, a saying I was told once was 'never let the sun go down on an argument' which is very true, and something I try to remember through day to day life
So this is a bit about me and who I am, I'm not a machine churning out Flower Creations but a determined woman who has taken over the dining room table to work on my ambition, I'm not 1 to sit and do nothing, so found the oppurtunity after being made redundant in 2012 and while being home with my little 1 to give my dream a go
